Kingdom Hearts Part Two

Terra sighed, leaning onto the top of the key blade.

“I’ll ask you again, Nobody. What is it that you’re doing here?” She snarled. The nobody sighed, pulling back his own hood to reveal a young boy, appearing no older than Terra with blue-grey hair and grey eyes. He looked up at Terra, clearly irritated.

“I suppose you have managed to stop me, and for that I should give you a few minutes of my time. But waste any of it, Heartless, and you’ll live to regret it.” He muttered. Terra raised an eyebrow, her snarl turning to a smirk.

“See, I never got that. We’re called heartless, though really we do have hearts, and you guys are just Nobodies. It never says anything about you missing a heart, but you really don’t have one at all.” She said calmly. The nobody boy narrowed his eyes even further. Terra clicked her tongue in iritance.

“right, I suppose I should get started rather than have fun. Okay. Who are you?” She asked. The figure hesitated, then quickly answered when Terra brought her key blade down between his legs again, hitting the same spot.

“Zexion!” he blurted out. Terra leaned forward towards his face.

“Good, good. You’re getting the hang of my game. Now. What number are you, Zexion?” She asked, rocking back and forth upon the key blade. Zexion sighed.

“Number VI” He stated. Terra nodded, her smile spreading.

“A founding member, I presume?” She asked. A nod was her response. She nodded once again.

“Okay, Zexion. What are you doing here? What’s your mission?” She asked. Zexion sighed, pushing some of his blue hair back. His eyes locked with Terra’s, as if communicating with her through their gaze. Her eyes widened as she realized what Zexion was referring to. She sighed, thinking for a moment.

“You’re supposed to be dead, aren’t you?” She asked. Zexion cringed as he thought back to his death and nodded.

“Yeah. I am. But I’m not.” He said calmly. Terra raised an eyebrow as she gripped the key blade and hoisted it up onto her shoulder.

“Why are you still alive?” She asked. Zexion paused for a moment, then while Terra had her guard down, opened up a portal and phased through. Terra tried to attack him, but missed and as both Organization XV and XIII know, Heartless cannot pass through a Nobody’s portal and vice versa. Terra cursed as she looked around. No sign of him re-appearing somewhere else… Terra let out a deep sigh as she looked down to her heartless mark on her chest. She slowly unzipped the jacket, exposing the simple tank top underneath.

“I’m sorry…” She muttered to her heart.

The sound of hurried feet echoed through out the black halls of the castle, making them sound more panicked and worried than they would normally. The foot steps belonged to those of Number X, also known as Adrian, hurried through the hallway. His messy brown hair was messier than usual, and his brown eyes which normally held a certain bored puppy dog look to them seemed to be weirded out and concerned. He burst into Cira’s office, making eye contact with her as he stared in. Cira stood up abruptly.

“Number III, it’s Terra. She’s returned and apparently she was unsuccessful.” He stated. Cira knew exactly what this meant. Her stern gaze dropped.

“Are Cadoc and Eros already on scene?” She asked. Adrian nodded.

“They are detaining her as we speak. But it might not be enough if she gets too worked up about it.” He explained. Cira sighed, nodding.

“Okay then, I suppose we’d better stop our baby superior’s temper-tantrum. Get Number IV here quickly. And Number XV.” She stated. Adrian raised his eyebrows, as if questioning her with his gaze. Cira clearly caught wave of this and answered him calmly.

“Sunil because he’s a superior and known Terra for almost longer than any one else in this organization and Uri because he seems to have an effect on her.” Cira explained. Adrian nodded, opening up one hand as a sudden flash of white appeared, then he disappeared into nothing. Cira paused for a moment, wondering why Adrian had run all the way down here when he could have just used a portal, then continued onto the bedroom of Terra. When she entered, she just missed getting hit in the head with a key blade by moving her head to one side. Cira looked at Cadoc and Eros who were busy scrambling around to calm her down. A stream of curse words flowed like a harsh river from Terra’s mouth as she summoned the key blade into her hand again and threw it at another wall. Cira rolled her eyes, stepping towards the furious girl. There was a noise as two other cloaked figures entered the room. Both were male, how ever one had medium-length fire red hair and crystal blue eyes where as the other had pure white hair and innocent blue eyes. Cira nodded to the two.

“Number IV. Number XV. Thank you for coming.” She said calmly. Number IV smirked looking towards Terra.

“Another ‘Heart Attack’?” he asked calmly. Cira shrugged.

“I suppose it could be. I’m really not sure.” She stated. Number IV took a few steps towards the screaming Terra and held out one hand.

“Terra? It’s Sunril. And Uri’s here too.” He said. Terra turned to them, her expression dulling as she relaxed.

“Oh. Okay. Sorry Uri…” She muttered, then exited. Uri stood there puzzled for a moment, then looked to the others.

“Why is she sorry?” He asked. The others simply shrugged. No one had ever really known why Terra was the way she was. She had always been kind of strange.

Terra wandered further down the hallway, looking around. She heard a few voices coming out from behind her, but she ignored them as she ignored the pain in her chest. It was her heart. Her stolen heart. Calling out for… something. Terra closed her eyes as she paced down the blackened hallways, remaining somewhat stuck in her own world. She sighed calmly as she looked to the giant window to her left.

“Tomorrow, the next mission begins.” She muttered to herself, “And this time, I’ll be ready for those pieces of shit.”
